The Beer City Brewers Guild was founded in 2016 by Grand Rapids area brewers, owners, and volunteers who recognized the need for a small Brewers Guild dedicated to promoting the industry at a hyper local level.

Grand Rapids is celebrating 14 years as Beer City USA. Since winning the title in a 2012 nationwide vote, GR has gone on to win a bevy of additional awards, including USA Today nods for America’s Best Beer City from 2021-2025.
